Product Description
Incarcerated for not playing nice with others, the Oakley Inmate Polarized Sunglasses developed a rounded edge of refinement to conceal an aggressive nature. Oakley's three-point fit makes contact only at the bridge of your nose and the temples to ensure ultimate comfort, and ultra-lightweight C-5 alloy frames help reduce the pressure of being locked up. Curved Plutonite polarized lenses block all UV light and even stop harmful blue light up to 400nm, so when you get released from your cell you not only look like Billy Ocean, but you see the angles like him as well.

Amazon.com Product Description
Oakley doesn't mind being repeat offenders when it comes to thrashing the world’s idea of performance. Take a look at the Inmate and you’ll see why. Assertive style with a honed edge, it’s a look that refuses to be caged or even take orders, for that matter. Five metal compounds are fused to create durable C-5™, a lightweight alloy that unlocks comfort. The frame makes contact only at the nose bridge and temples, thanks to a Three-Point Fit that utilizes Unobtanium components to increase grip with sweat. High Definition Optics (HDO®) offers unbelievable clarity while letting the lenses contour to your peripheral view. Their Plutonite lens material blocks 100% of all UVA, UVB and UVC, and even stops harmful blue light up to 400nm. When it comes to impact protection, they meet all ANSI Z80.3 Industrial Standards. The polarized lenses are engineered to block the blinding, eye-straining rays of glare that are magnified by flat surfaces such as snow, water and pavement.

Style, Protection, & Quality You Can Feel (2010-06-03)
I would first like to confess that I have not had these sunglasses for a long period of time, but from the first time I put them on, I knew they were a cut above the rest of the sunglasses I have owned. While these are not my first pair of expensive sunglasses, they are my first Oakleys and I am impressed. While a little on the heavy side (read: made with durable, quality materials), these glasses look great and draw compliments. Whether you prefer Aviator or Square Lens style sunglasses, these should be aesthetically pleasing to/for your eyes. Pictures don't accurately convey the size of these frames, but while they are certainly robust, I would be hesitant to call them huge. I liked these so much, I bought the same style in Polished Gold/Gray. The difference between polarized and non-polarized lenses is barely noticeable in my opinion, so I don't believe it justifies the difference in price, hence the loss of one star.

Best Shades I've Ever Owned (2010-01-06)
Bought a pair at the O store and they were stolen. I almost broke down. I absolutley loved those shades. Well, I had to buy another pair. If you're gonna buy sunshades, you gotta get polarized.
