Sort of polarized (2009-12-02)
I lost some polarized Smiths (Cause) that I was able to hold onto for many years and loved them. Of course, they decided to discontinue the model and everyone who had left overs sold them way over-priced (crap). These Bolles looked similar and were a decent price, so I gave them a shot. Fit isn't bad (medium sized head) except that they shift when I smile. Although with the rubberized grips I can position them to keep this from happening. The polarization isn't great on these. You get the same multicolor reflection back from the inside of the glasses, but without as much glare reduction. The plastic on these is flexible, which is a good thing I guess and it does give me the ability to wiggle them on under my full face motorcycle helmet.
All in all, they are good glasses, but don't hold a candle to some nice Smith's.

Wow, de verdad los mejores Bolle que he comprado. Esta es la tercera montura Bolle que he comprado en mi vida y estoy sumamente contento. El color es espectacular, tenia mis dudas porque no entendia eso de color arma de fuego, pero entiendo ahora a que se refieren, es algo muy parecido a un gris plomo metalizado. El diseno es muy moderno y los cristales polarizados son la mejor proteccion para mis ojos. Buena marca a muy buen precio.
great but not invincible (2009-07-24)
great sunglasses - great fit, great style, great lens color and construction, extremely lightweight. However, just like any other sunglasses, the shatter into a million pieces if you accidentally step on them. I replaced them with the Firenze by Serengeti

Tried on these particular Bolle sunglasses at the local Sunglass Hut, found them at Amazon for $30 cheaper than SH, ordered, delivered a week later new in the box.
Optics are excellent, frame is sturdy but light, nose piece has good grip, and it fits my wide head nicely.
One happy camper.
